Since our formation in 1997 Quad Contracts has operated as a Management Contractor specialising in fit out and refurbishment projects. We are Principle Contractors with a wealth of experience across a wide variety of sectors including; Commercial, Residential, Education, Retail and Healthcare.
Quad Contracts are able to provide a complete turnkey solution. Our flexible and open-minded approach enables us to collaborate with an already appointed client team. However, if a professional team is not in place, we have experience of operating under various contract methods and a few of these options are explained below:
Traditional procurement route
Fully designed contracts (typically a JCT or similar contract framework) working on behalf of the client’s project management/design team.
Two stage tender process
The client has little time and therefore requires a contractor to be on board before the design is completed.
Detail to Build
A concept design has been produced by a client appointed architect/designer and this needs to be refined and translated into full construction drawings which in turn we use to build from.
Design & Build
Quad Contracts appointed designer will take a full brief and produce detailed drawings for sign off which we will then use to complete the project. The benefit of this method is we choose a designer who meets the client’s requirements who we then manage to ensure the
design and budget stay inline from 'concept to completion.'
Quad Contracts are traditionally known as a Principle Contractor. Our core skills and expertise are within the procurement, management and delivery of a construction project.
The procurement of packages to deliver a project is completed prior to the commencement of any work beginning. This is a management process and it follows strict guidelines that we adhere to insuring that the rate given for the work is still the rate upon completion.
Management of the project is undertaken by Quad Contracts in-house team of site managers. A manager is appointed to the project and that person is on site throughout the duration of the construction phase.
In addition to the construction manager we also have a full time site foreman to handle deliveries and ensure the site is kept clean, clear and a safe environment for all users. The delivery of the project is monitored by our site team and Directors every step of the way to ensure that as a company we always achieve the following:
Minimising disruption to the local community and environment
Maintaining a well managed and organised site
Providing a safe working environment
Providing everyone on site with an environment that encourages and promotes high quality standards and workmanship
Ensuring full liaison with all stakeholders at all times
Delivering a property back to the client that is above their expectations
